Utata is very pleased to announce that the Hants County Arts Council (HCAC) has generously agreed to sponsor the Youth Portfolio class.
Youth programs are of a particular interest to Utata and part of our mission is to assist Hants County youths in realizing their artistic and creative dreams. For many of them this means being able to attend a good Art College. To get into an Art College you need to have a good art portfolio and that requires the help and expertise of a dedicated teacher.
Under the expert guidance of Jaki Durocher and with the generous support of the HCAC, Utata will be launching its Youth Portfolio program, beginning December 16, 2008. Because the of generosity of the Art Community in Hants County this program will be available for a nominal charge of $40 (which gives the student a membership at Utata) to any youths aged 15-20. This is a class that would normally cost several hundred dollars to attend.
It is offered on a first come, first served basis and will accept a maximum of 12 students. Please register early to ensure your place in class.
